Change Log (vs 2.8-beta1):

    As requested by a few users here, I added another pegasusq profile which is called "boeffla moderate". This profile actives the second core much quicker than the battery saving boeffla profile, hence it is less strict keeping to one core. However, core 3 and 4 will still only be activated when there is high load.
    Boeffla tweaks app updated with a newer version that primarily has some internal fixed and increases the text size of the categories to have a slightly better user experience (tx to ZaneZam).
    The updated app required some semi-intelligent update handling, which is now implemented to also support subsequent updates of the app in future.

    fix user background image was not restored on restart
    TWRP backup and restore support, include full md5 sum support (single and multivolume, compressed and non compressed formats)
    support multiple efs backups in tar format (user request)
    now it is possible to restore from many modem.bin files under clockworkmod/custom_backup/.modem_bin folder to flash them (just name them *.bin)
    fix potential md5 error caused when restoring/flashing some modem.bin files
    fix recovery partition was restored when ever you restore something in stock Advanced Restore Menu
    custom restore option to browse from /sdcard/0 if it exists (this is a temporary workaround for Android 4.2)
    add ext4 support for mounting external storage (i9300 thread request)
    friendly log mode now is final: logs are no more wiped when switching view for all operations (install zip, boot scripts, backup/restore...)
    enhance logging and user messages mainly in backup/restore operations
    remove useless support for browsable custom aromafm.zip folders (must be in default folder)
    Clean Phone for a New ROM moved to Custom Backup and Restore
    preview support for slide right and double tap gesture actions
    fix: virtual keys will no more trigger an action at end of your scrolling if touched by case
    fix: virtual keys could remain highlighted under some circumstances
    fix screen capture index was back to 11 when it reached 100 (now it will be 999 photos and reverts to 001)
    fix: toggle background icon prompted for a key since v4.53
    fix: when toggle icon, screen logs are no more wiped
    fix: when change menu size, screen logs no more wiped
    deep revise of touch source to optimize and clean code (scrolling behavior is still same, this will be the next on my todo list)
    many bugfixes + compiler warnings fix in code

    "Soft" overclocking up to 1500 or 1600 MHz available
    Boeffla-Sound Engine updated to 1.5.1:
        Speaker tuning
        Microphone sensivity level can be configured in 32 steps separately for recording and calls (call detection is back in the engine now)
        Mic mode is not available anymore as it got replaced by the Microphone sensivity level just explained
    New zzmoove governor version 0.3 (All credits to ZaneZam!!!)
    5 PegasusQ profiles (boeffla battery, boeffla moderat, 1core, 2cores, smod)
    3 zzmoove profiles (battery, optimal, performance)
    "peg" system tweak removed, this is now contained in the pegasusq profile "smod" (all using "smod" in system tweaks before should also select "PegasusQ Speedmod" now additionally, users of system tweak "peg" now choose stock for system tweaks and "pegasusq speedmod" for governor to have the same behaviour)
    Boeffla Tweaks app now installed as user app instead of system app (this fixes the issue with app not showing up after first reboot).

Hi all,

just a quick information: If you face issues with applying your configured governors in boeffla-tweaks, there is a fixed version 2.8-beta3a available now for download via the homepage or load&flash via boeffla-tweaks app.

That was the only quick fix, nothing else is contained.

    GPU overclocking in two steps (260-533 and 350-600 MHz) available (the gpu undervolting implementation has been also redesigned "under the hood" to support the more dynamic voltages required by the OC feature)
    Boeffla-Sound Engine updated to 1.6.0:
        Speaker tuning available
        Stereo expansion available
        Mono downmix available
        Microphone sensivity level can be configured in 32 steps separately for recording and calls (call detection is back in the engine now)

Small note: So far Simone could not yet update the Boeffla-Sound app in playstore. So the new features can currently only be used by using the Boeffla-Tweaks app directly, or of course the config file.

The following small issues which have been reported for beta5 have been fixed:
- Speaker tuning settings accidentally moved into speaker volume settings as well
- boeffla-kernel folder creation in Boeffla-Tweaks app with wrong access rights
