Change Log
There are 4 profiles for the PegasusQ governor:
"Boeffla" - this profile tries to stick as long as possible to one core only. If there is lots of additional performance required, additional cores will be activated. On top, the governor scales up a little less agressively, unused cores however are shut down quite aggressively again. Aim is to be more battery friendly than standard pegasusq (to be confirmed by you of course)
"1 core" - limit to use one core as maximum, regardless how much load is on the system
"2 core" - same as 1 core, just with a maximum of 2 used cores
"Speedmod" - these are the pegasusq tweaks hardcore uses in his famous Speedmod kernel
There are 3 profiles for the zzmoove governor (tx to ZaneZam):
"performance" - optimized for higher performance in zzmoove
"optimal" - Good balance between performance and battery life
"battery" - Fokus on better battery life
Note: Currently I have only implemented these profiles via the boeffla-tweaks app. I want to first wait for your feedbacks on the profiles to decide which will finally make it into a stable branch. Of course, the config file way of configuration will then be added as well. |
