今日看書看到一首詩是艾德嘉格斯特Edgar Guest所寫，繼續下去(keep going)，
很美的一首詩，尤其是自己遇到困難的時候自我的鼓勵。也分享給給每個朋友。
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
And the road you"re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don"t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out.
Don"t give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than it seems
To a faint and faltering man.
Often the struggler has given up when he
Might have captured the victor"s cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are.
It may be near when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight when you"re hardest hit.
It"s when things seem worst that
You musn’t quit.
事情總有出差錯的時候，你跋涉的旅途似乎都是上坡，
資金缺乏、債台高築，
你想微笑以對，卻只能嘆息。
當憂慮壓得你有點受不了，如果必要，就休息吧，但你可別放棄
生命有迂迴曲折的奇事，
就像我們有時學到的一樣，
就像我們我有時學到的一樣。
旭多失敗，如果當時堅持到底，
其實我們是能得勝的。
別放棄，雖然腳步似乎越來越慢。
再出一拳，就可能成功。
成功就是把失敗翻轉過來看。
是懷疑之烏雲上的銀色閃光。
你永遠不會知道
成功還有多們遠?
看似遙遠，實則很近，
所以繼續戰鬥。
尤其是你被擊打得最慘烈的時刻，
情況最艱鉅時，你可別放棄。 |
