闊別兩年，Hurts於2015年深秋發行第三張大碟《Surrender》，除曾搭檔過《快樂悲傷 Happiness》及《流亡者 Exile》的瑞典製作人Jonas Quant之外，同時動員葛萊美喝采的英籍Stuart Price (Madonna、Coldplay)+美籍Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim、Vampire Weekend)聯合抬轎，如此堅強的幕後陣容，除了鞏固原有的音樂基底，更在新作《Surrender》中添加有別於前兩張專輯的明亮結構，舒暢快意的鮮明旋律包覆Theo渾厚的嗓音，猶如撥雲見日般驅散陰鬱氣氛，灑落一地溫暖的金色光芒。率先問市的第一波主打〈Some Kind Of Heaven〉，擺脫過往陰鬱深沉的黑暗色調，轉換響亮Synth-Pop/New Wave和Electronic Rock碰撞出一片心花怒放，循著弦樂找尋宛若置身天堂般的美麗畫面，令歌迷驚艷萬分；漩起燦爛迷情的〈Nothing Will Be Bigger Than Us〉，奔向時髦Electropop和復古Synthpop的領域，不顧一切的沉溺其中；再接再厲攻榜的第二波單曲〈Lights〉，滲入濃烈Funky節奏，將散落一地的電子合成顆粒重新組合，打破黑暗的僵局迎向光亮；伸展一雙翅膀呵護愛情的〈Wings〉，置入福音式的合聲，提供撼動心房的暖歌，透過低迴的美麗旋律，讓孤單終結、替悲傷止步！
