2.12 stable
Note: You do not need to clean your kernel settings first. Just if you use zzmoove: Please select pegasusq governor after flash and then switch back to your zzmoove profile again to make sure latest configuration is used.

* All functionalities of last stable kernel 2.11
* zzmoove governor updated to 0.5.1b (credits to ZaneZam)
* Touch-to-wake available (activate in Boeffla-Tweaks app first)
* WLAN driver updated to driver of i9505 (more stable data throughput)
* WLAN multicast packets blocked for better battery life
* zRam support (configurable e.g. in Boeffla-Tweaks app, do not forget to restart after configuring)
* Linux kernel \"upstreamed\" from Samsung original version 3.0.31 to latest release 3.0.83 from 20.06.2013 (www.kernel.org)
* Additional charging rates for USB and AC charger
* Dynamic fsync updated to version 1.2 (Faux via Yank)
* ROW scheduler updated
* Issues with Boeffla-Sound on some custom roms (i.e. Omega) resolved
* Debug info log in Boeffla-Tweaks app extended to include more zRam specific debug info
* SuperSU updated to version 1.3.4
Note on touch-to-wake:
When you activate it, you have to select the time touch-to-wake is active after display goes off. How it works is pretty simple: Let the display go dark and tap the display during the selected time again -> display will go on again. For security reasons, this does NOT work when you lock the display via the power button - so use this when you want to put your phone into a pocket.
Recommendation: Set the touch-to-wake time to 45 seconds, and set the time the lockscreen gets active to 1 minute in Android settings. This is a perfect combo for doing chatting like e.g. WhatsApp, Hangout...
As always - download from homepage or via Load&Flash.
Next plans:
Development of the kernel itself will now be slowed down. Reasons:
- I am working with highest priority on my boeffla-config app right now
- 4.2.2 kernel sources are hopefully not too far away |
