Armel Dupas is a pianist and composer from Nantes. He has performed alongside Henri Texier, Sandra Nkaké, and David Linx. He graduated from the CNSM in Paris and won awards at the Tremplin Rezzo Focal Jazz competition in Vienne and the Trophées du Sunside. For over ten years, he has been successfully building his career as a leader. His solo and trio albums have accumulated 22 million streams, making him one of the most listened-to French jazz musicians in the world.
In the album Let It Snow, Let It Swing, Armel reimagines Christmas songs. He highlights their folkloric roots: 'These melodies are a core part of Western culture.
