在鋼琴樂手父親的鼓勵下，Laura開始做步入歌壇前的準備與奠定紮實根基。16歲的初登場，在父親帶領下齊聲高歌，隨後分別在當地鋼琴酒吧、唱詩班中訓練歌藝。1991年父親協助製作DEMO，同時替參加The Castrocaro Music Festival歌唱比賽準備，以Liza Minnelli的「New York, New York」參賽，雖然不幸敗北，卻讓Laura更加強自我訓練。1993年，靠著「La Solitudine」一曲站上年度歌唱盛會Sanremo Music Festival舞台，不僅贏得新進藝人首獎頭銜，還一舉攻上義大利流行榜冠軍，打響這位芳齡19歲的少女名聲。2002年推出首張進軍美國的英文大碟“From The Inside＂，除了淪陷整個歐洲市場之外，還在美國與日本排行榜開出亮眼成績，接連「Surrender」、「If That’s Love」兩首單曲搶下告示牌舞曲榜冠軍！自2004年推出“Resta In Ascolto＂開始，每回發片都送上義大利和西班牙雙語版本，全部登上義大利冠軍，同時贏得美國拉丁界好評推崇！
超過20年的歌齡，Laura第一次問市聖誕應景特典“Laura Xmas”，大部分挑選耳熟能詳的英文耶誕歌謠詮釋，洋溢一片溫馨和歡樂的氣氛，邀來協助過Vince Gill、Amy Grant等知名歌手的Patrick Williams Orchestra擔任幕後伴奏，於流行的領域中灌入古典管弦樂優雅氣質。包括：小朋友也能琅琅上口的「Santa Claus Is Coming To Town」、「Jingle Bells」、「Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!」、「Jingle Bell Rock」等曲目，搖擺出舒適愉悅的線條；Judy Garland主演1944年音樂劇【相逢聖路易Meet Me In St. Louis】的主題曲「Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas」，據美國作曲家、作家和發行商協會(ASCAP)統計，此曲為史上翻唱第3高的聖誕歌謠，並入選AFI百年百大電影歌曲名單之列；躍上金氏世界紀錄『史上最暢銷單曲』，全球開出破億銷量，Bing Crosby所演唱的「White Christmas」版本，散發聖潔的光輝；選自1971年John Lennon與Yoko Ono締造英國排行殿軍的「Happy Xmas (War Is Over)」，希冀世界沒有戰爭紛擾、來年一切和平；加上西班牙文的「Feliz Navidad」、「Adeste Fideles」、平安夜「Astro Del Ciel」等作品，享受這一季的白色溫情！
