The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the international Samsung Galaxy S3 (model GT-I9300) is rolling out once again after being pulled to fix bugs that left many Galaxy S3 handsets non-functional.

Over three weeks have passed since the Android 4.3 update for the international Galaxy S3 was postponed pending investigation from Samsung. Among the major Android 4.3 problems plaguing the Galaxy S3 were: lag when attempting to wake the device up from standby, random Freezing, extensive battery drain, issues with Bluetooth audio playback in cars, stuttered playback on Samsung’s music app, device freezing after incoming calls, poor RAM management, and Wi-Fi issues.

Many Android 4.3 issues also trickled onto U.S. models of the Samsung Galaxy S4, which resumed its update earlier this week. Since the Android 4.3 issues came to light, many Samsung Galaxy Models have updated to Android 4.3, including several U.S. Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 models as well as U.S., international and Canadian Galaxy Note 2 models. This indicates that the problems with Android 4.3 have largely been eradicated across the board; however, users should keep in mind that minor bugs may still exist.

Users indicate that the I9300XXUGMK6 build firmware includes fixes for performance and stability issues, which arose in the previous Android 4.3 update for the international Galaxy S3. For those who never received the update, a host of new features will come to the Galaxy S3, including Galaxy Gear support and the Samsung KNOX security system. The Samsung Galaxy S3 will also receive many features, which originated on the Galaxy S4 in this Android 4.3, including an updated user interface, keyboard, and notification center, new camera modes, and the Move-to-SD-card feature, among many others.

10月中就知道要更新 但一直拖...

等了這麼久終於到開始更新了
只是......
之前國外更新後所傳出來的災情不知有沒修復~~

升級4.3之後目前似乎還無法降回4.1.2，還是先看看有沒有高手可以解決這問題比較保險！

快出吧！我等好久了呀！

I want to share my experience during & after the upgrade to 4.3.

Before the upgrade, you MUST backup all user data for EACH applications.  No matter it has been done by Kies or not.  Suggest to use the application"s backup tools to carry out a backup again where appropriate; such as Whatsapp, CamScanner, CardScanner, etc.

During the upgrade, don"t touch anything on your desktop computer and keep the usb link up all the time.

After the upgrade, I found the battery level drops much faster than expected.  I tried to charge up the unit to 100% and then keep it untouch for over night, the battery level dropped to 48% without running any applications, while both wifi & 3G/4G were off.  

To fix it, I carried out a factory reset and then restored the applications, as well as the user data, it works fine.  Restart the battery test as before with the same conditions; (both wifi & 3G/4G were off and no application is running), the battery level keep at 98% for about 5 hours.  

Since it was upgraded to 4.3 for just a few days, more time is required to verify this upgrade is bug proof or not.

所以到底什麼時候才能更新 4.3 呀!!
