來自澳洲的四人搖滾男團「到暑五秒」（5 Seconds of Summer）將演唱影片上傳至 YouTube，引起 One Direction 團員 Louis 的注意，隨後更簽入 One Direction 所屬的經紀公司 “Modest!” 旗下，成為一同巡演的師兄弟團體。
在尚未正式發行專輯之前，到暑五秒就先以兩張 EP 累積人氣，並創下在五天之內，完成瑞典、德國、法國、義大利、西班牙等五國宣傳的瘋狂紀錄，所到之處皆創下少女狂奔尖叫的盛況。到暑五秒的魅力也開始在社群網站發燙，目前所有團員已累積超過 1,300 萬推特追隨者，並突破 8,000 萬YouTube點閱紀錄，在本週美國告示牌社群榜（Social 50）上已坐二望一，直逼同屬環球音樂集團的師兄小賈斯汀。而到暑五秒首張同名專輯一發行就橫掃 69 國 iTunes 冠軍，更以單曲「美麗的她」（She Looks So Perfect）成為 14 年來第一組登上英國金榜冠軍的澳洲團體，這股「5SOS」狂潮已經開始從南半球開始席捲全球!
