The modified Dotview have colorized icon (see pictures below, I will add more to show other icon"s color). You can download it if you have interest in testing it. I also attach stock Dotview for your flashing back to stock one.
This Dotview is tested ok in M8/E8.
By the way, if you know how to decompile a apk, then I can instruct you how to change the color yourself.
