Hold on, let me get my shocked face ready — okay, here it goes: the Verizon DROID RAZR won’t be getting Android 4.0 today *gasp*! After a CNET report which pegged the update for June 12, many Verizon customers took to their respective social networks to harass Verizon as to when they can expect to see the update. Unfortunately, Verizon’s response was the usual “we do not have a date for ICS on the RAZR yet.”
If you’re a Verizon customer, you should be used to delays by now. It’s really a shame that Verizon is taking this long to update one of their best selling devices. I guess it takes a while to make sure all their pre-loaded bloatware junk can be transferred over before making the update available.
I’m not expecting it anytime soon either, so put on your patience hat and pretend you’re never going to get it (that way you’ll be surprised when you actually do).
