網站內部份宣稱以華為 P9 拍攝，由用戶提供的照片；不少都會出現「A168-LXX」(XX 為版本) 的 EXIF 資訊。Android Police 詳細分析造假照片的 EXIF，發現攝影師採用了 EF70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM 鏡頭，連同 EOS 5D Mark III 總值 4,500 美元（折合新台幣約為 145,000 元），難怪相片的效果這樣清晰和沒有雜訊。
兩張相片的文字描述分別為「Share your #HuaweiP9 reflection shots like Deliciously Ella’s photo, pictured. With a dual lens camera co-engineered by Leica, even reflections look real. #OO」和「We managed to catch a beautiful sunrise with Deliciously Ella. The #HuaweiP9’s dual Leica cameras makes taking photos in low light conditions like this a pleasure. Reinvent smartphone photography and share your sunrise pictures with us. #OO」，嚴格來說，華為並沒有明確表示相片以 P9 拍攝，但明顯地讓網友有這樣的感覺，就算不是造假，起碼也有「魚目混珠」之嫌。和大陸網友一樣，外國不少網友都留言批評華為造假，似乎華為的宣傳部門在 6 月的事件上還沒有汲取教訓。
