Sony Xperia Arc S may get Jelly Bean!
Sony might finally give in to the competition and might offer the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile operating system for it’s Sony Xperia Arc S and other smartphones.
Sony has earlier claimed that smartphones such as the Xperia Arc S and other range of Xperia phones would be denied the latest Android upgrade. The 2011 Xperia smartphones and Xperia S will continue with the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade until the decision to rollout Jelly Bean for the smartphones is finalised.
However, the word cannot be taken for sure since Sony and other Android manufacturers have proven to be undependable with regards to accurate time estimates and consistently leaving new phones behind. The company said the earlier information was an “error” and are now discussing the options to give the benefits of the latest Android mobile operating system to maximum smartphones.
The official blog of Sony read, “We are actively investigating Android OS upgrades for all devices. In the meantime, our Ice Cream Sandwich rollout for Xperia S and 2011 Xperia smartphones continues as planned.”
Sony launched their mid-budget Android 4.0 packed Xperia Miro smartphone last month. Xperia Play which was launched in 2011 was also denied the Android operating system Ice Cream Sandwich despite Sony claiming that all the Xperia phones from 2011 will get the Android 4.0.
Sony’s latest promise also includes Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia P and other range of 2012 smartphones later this month.作者: 56161561561 時間: 2012-8-31 15:18
